La Grieta

'La Grieta' tells the story of two woman from a working class neighborhood in Madrid, called Villaverde, who try to keep their houses. In 2013 local governments sold thousands of protective housing to foreign investment funds and many families had to leave their homes. This documentary offers a look, with a touch of humor, despite the implicit drama, of two families who struggle to keep their roof and, above all, their identity.
