Plot

'Lady and the Tramp' is a live-action adaptation of the beloved 1955 Disney classic of the same name. Lady (voiced by Tessa Thompson, 'Thor: Ragnarok') is a cocker spaniel who lives a sheltered and semi-spoilt life with her owners, Jim Dear (Thomas Mann, 'Me and Earl and The Dying Girl') and Darling (Kiersey Clemons, 'Hearts Beat Loud'). Lady enjoys life in the lap of luxury alongside her canine pals, the Bloodhound Trusty (Sam Elliott, 'A Star is Born') and Scottish Terrier Jock (Ashley Jensen, 'Ugly Betty'). However, when Jim Dear and Darling welcome their first child, Lady feels increasingly shoved to the sidelines. This worsens when the couple go away and Darling's Aunt Sarah (Yvette Nicole Brown, 'Community') takes charge, setting in motion a series of events that lead to Lady ending up on the streets. Unfamiliar with the world outside, Lady is befriended by a Schnauzar-mutt named Tramp (Justin Theroux, 'Maniac'). As he shows her what it's like to live life free as a stray and the two of them begin to experience the pangs of first love, Lady must make the difficult decision as to whether she wishes to return home or to make a life on the streets with Tramp. 'Lady and the Tramp' is directed by Charlie Bean ('Robotboy') and is written by Andrew Bujalski ('Support the Girls') and Kari Granlund ('Troubleshooters'). Hide full plot... Show full plot
