Trivia

Both actors who have portrayed Harry Osborn in live action Spider-Man films (Dane DeHaan and James Franco) have also portrayed James Dean.

Dane DeHaan turned down the role of James Dean five times as he felt intimidated playing such a respected figure. His wife, Anna Wood, eventually convinced him to take on the role.

James Dean's article written for Life Magazine was not very popular at the time when it was first released.
