Plot
Summer in Brooklyn. Jake just moved to his grandfather's home with his parents. For some years the mother of a boy from the block called Tony has been owning the shop downstairs. Both boys are 13 years old and they will discover that they are indeed very similar: they like art, videogames and girls. However their parents will not get along as well, as they start a discussion about the little shop downstairs that will put the boy's friendship in danger. Trying to put an end to their parents' fight the children will come up with a curious and original way of rebel and protest.
The movie is directed by Ira Sachs, who has been in charge of other projects such as 'Delta', presented on Sundance Film Festival in 1997, 'Forty Shades of Blue', winner of the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance, or 'Married Life'.
