Los hongos

Oscar Ruiz Navia directs ' Los hongos', starring Jovan Alexis Marquinez and Calvin Buenaventura. Ras and Calvin are two graffiti painters from Cali (Colombia). Both suffer a difficult family situation, plus the complicated socio-cultural circumstances imposed by their environment. We witness the wanderings of the two friends, like two nomads fungi, will from one side to another of the city, pervading all of his artistic genius and lust for life. The 'Los hongos' director won the Special Jury Prize - Filmakers of the Present at the Locarno International Film Festival.
