On My Skin

'On my Skin' tells the real story about Stefano Cucchi's death. Stefano was addicted to drugs, but he wanted to recover. He was arrested for selling and owning drugs: twenty grams of hash and three little bags containing cocaine. He admitted the charges for the consumption of the drugs but not for selling them. He spent seven days in different prison cells and hospitals. He crossed paths in that time with over 140 persons and no one helped him cured his wounds or stop his epilepsy episodes. His family didn't have any contact with him this days. October 21st of 2009 he died in a prison cell in Rome.

This film based on one of the most controversial trials of Italia's recent years is directed by Alessio Cremonini ('Border') and starred by Alessandro Borghi ('Suburra').
