Paris Memories

On the night of November 13, 2015, a Saturday in the fall, Mia is trapped in a Parisian bistro in the midst of simultaneous terrorist attacks in the Parisian capital. Three months later and unable to pick up her life where she left off, Mia continues to remember fragments of that night and decides that the only way to find her way back to happiness is to delve into her own memories.

Directed by Alice Winocour, 'Revoir Paris' arrives the same year that the trial against the terrorists who survived that night has been held. Although it is fiction and is not based on real events, the director's brother was indeed that terrible night in the Bataclan club and was the inspiration to direct and write it in the memories of the messages that he exchanged with him and in everything that could remember himself.

'Revoir Paris' analyzes how the plot of the attacks affects the victims, but it does not explore the psyche of the terrorists or their motivations. It also adds details to underline the racial variety of the French capital and not fall into racist stereotypes.
