Synopsis

The film directed by Carles Bosch focuses in the figure of a gypsy man called Joan Ximénez Petitet, from the Raval in Barcelona. He has colaborated with many and greatest artists from the genre of rumba. Petitet promised his mother before she died that he would make the catalonian rumba great again. To do so, he contracts many gypsy musicians to form an orchestra. However, they haven?t read any sheet music and at the beggining the rehearsals are a complete chaos. But together they will fight to achieve the promise Petitet made to his mother.
