Plot
In 2029, on board of the United States Air Force's Oberon spacial station, Leo Davidson (Mark Wahlberg) works training apes to fly recon spaceships. His favorite student is a chimpanzee called Pericles. When an electromagnetic storm hits de Oberon, he ships Pericles in a recon mission. When he gets into the storm's eye, he loses all communication and the spaceship disappears. Disobeying the commander's orders, Leo takes a flys a second ship in search of Pericles. He crashes into a planet in 3002. Once there, he discovers this world is ruled by humanoid apes with the capability to talk ant treat humans as slaves.
This reboot is directed by the well-know director Tim Burton ('Edward Scissorhands')
