Practical Magic 2

'Practical Magic 2' is a romantic fantasy film directed by Susanne Bier. It is based on the book "The Book of Magic" by Alice Hoffman and is a sequel to the 1998 film, both starring Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock. The film premieres on September 10, 2026.

We meet the Owens family once again, whose women possess incredible magical powers but also a curse: all the men they love are doomed to die. After losing her second husband, Sally Owens decides not to fall in love again and devotes herself to protecting her two daughters: Kylie and Antonia, whose memories she decides to erase, taking away their magic in order to hide the truth about their family.

The family manages to return to some sort of normalcy until Kylie falls in love for the first time with Gideon, and the young man suffers an accident and falls into a coma. As a result of this event, Sally has to explain the truth to her daughters, while Kylie is determined to investigate a solution to save her boyfriend.

In addition to Kidman and Bullock, the cast of 'Practical Magic 2' is completed by Stockard Channing, Dianne Wiest, Joey King, Maisie Williams, Lee Pace and Xolo Maridueña. The film was shot at the Warner Bros. studios in England and received poor reviews following its release.
