Rust

‘'Rust'’ is a screenplay and starring film by Alec Baldwin, known for his roles in ‘Beetlejuice’ (1988) and ‘Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation’. He looks back with director Joel Souza and takes us back to the 1880s.

Harland Rust (Alec Baldwin) is known for his misdeeds. Just hearing his name inspires fear in those unfortunate enough to do so; on the contrary, those who utter it seek to obtain the bounty for the man's head.

Rust discovers that his 13-year-old grandson has been sentenced to hang. Although many believe that the murder for which the young man is accused is accidental, the sentence is imposed and he must find a way to save his life.

Rust leaves his secluded retirement to go save Lucas, his grandson. Together they embark on a flight to Mexico. They encounter enemies and dangerous paths where they must exercise utmost caution.

They will have to escape ambushes and betrayals. In the midst of a border landscape, Rust must make an important decision. To abandon his grandson to his fate or give his life for Lucas's.
