Plot
'Secret Superstar' is a Bollywood musical drama that tells the story of Insia, a young Indian girl who wishes to compete in a talent show and become a singer. Her father doesn't accept this and this provokes arguments in the familia. However, Insia will find the help of Shakti Kumar, played by the Bollywood star Aamir Khan, who is also a producer of the film. The protagonist is Zaira Wasim, who already shared screen with Khan on her 2016 debut 'Dangal', for which she won the Indian National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress. This film is the helm debut of Advait Chandan, who is also the screen writer. The music is composed by A. R. Rahman, winner of two Oscars for 'Slumdog Millionaire'.
