Hannes is a meteorologist who lives in a observatory completely alone. At the valley lives Hella Amstrong and her father who is astronomer. One day, Hella is flying over the mountain with the pilot Ernst Udet. Then, she decides to visit Hannes and they fallen in love quickly. After that, Hella wants to visit her friend Walter, a musician. Hannes feels good about that but, suddenly He begins to be suspicious and He thinks they are lovers. For this reason, Hannes will stay in Mont Blanc one year more, but a storm comes and he kept caught and his hands become frozen.
