Plot

'Synchronicity' is a sci-fy American movie directed by Jacob Gentry that keep the tradition of sci-fi noir films of 'Dark City', 'Blade Runner' or 'Alphaville'. The plot is about the machine that can fold space-time invented by Jim Beale. His invention will cause the appearence of a rare Dahlia in the present coming from a future world. Jim will must now find the connection between the machine and the strange flower to demonstrate his invention works. However, the Dahlia is in the hands of a mysterious girl, a femme fatale. Jim don't trust her and will travel back in time to reveal the connections between the young and mysterious girl and his own reality.

'Synchronicity' is the new movie from the creators of 'The Signal'.

A known character

When Jim goes to Abby's apartment for the first time, one of the residents listed on the intercom display is Sebastian J.F. J.F. Sebastian is a character in Blade Runner (1982) played by William Sanderson.

Under the Georgia Dome

According to the director's commentary, the scene in which Jim runs out of the lab and encounters Abby was filmed under the Georgia Dome.

The McTiernan

The name of the Irish bar, McTiernan, is in honor of the director John McTiernan.
