'The Book of Henry' is a 2017 American drama directed by Colin Trevorrow and written by Gregg Hurwtiz. It tells the story of Henry (Jaeden Lieberher) and his younger brother, Peter (Jacob Tremblay), who live together under the guidance of their single mum, susan (Naomi Watts). Henry develops a crush on his neighbour, Christina (Maddie Ziegler), the daughter of Glenn Sickleman (Dean Norris) a Police Commissioner who is an extremely manipulative father. Henry hatches a plan to save Christina which he writes down in his book. Henry's mother finds the book and decides the family of three can come together to put Henry's plan into action. The movie is distributed by Focus Features and will arrive to cinemas in June 2017.

The film was shot in 36 days. In an interview with Chris Stuckmann, Colin Trevorrow stated the screenplay is 20 years old. This will be the second collaboration between Jacob Tremblay and Naomi Watts. Their first collaboration is 'Shut In' (2016).
