Plot
Marc Huye with all his team has a small village of Cévennes, where he lives his wife Denise to finish his film. However, his creativity manifested itself in a million ideas that emerged in an extraneous caos. Marc then begins to write the 'Book of solutions', a guía of practical advice that can serve as the solution to all of our problems.

La espuma de los días
La película dentro de la película de 'The Book of Solutions' es una película estilo años 50 con un ratón, como en 'La espuma de los días' de Gondry, el director de ambas.
Aunt Denise
The character of Aunt Denise in the movie is inspired by Gondry's own aunt Suzette, who was the subject of his documentary L'épine dans le coeur (2009). On top of that, El libro de las soluciones (2023) was partly filmed at her house in Villemagne, in the South of France.
Premiere at Cannes
It was selected to be screened in the Directors' Fortnight section of the 76th Cannes Film Festival. It had its world premiere there on 21 May 2023.
