The Book of Wonders

'The Book of Wonders' is a dramatic comedy featuring the story of Thelma (Alexandra Lamy), a mother whose life changes completely when her twelve-year-old son, Louis (Hugo Questel), suffers a terrible accident that lefts him in a coma. Like any mother, Thelma is determined to wake up her son and thinks that, one of the ways she has to help him, is to accept the challenge he wanted to accept by completing a list of the ten things to do before the world ends. With this, Thelma intends to show (in a certain way) his son all the wonders that life hides. A journey through the dreams her son wanted to fulfill will take this mother to discover a new world she had never imagined coming to rekindle her own will to live.

A film directed by the screenwriter, producer and director Lisa Azuelos ('LOL (Laughing Out Loud) ®' or 'One Wild Moment') with a screenplay wrote by Juliette Sales ('Not Here to Be Loved') and Fabien Suarez ('Spirou & Fantasio's Big Adventures') adapted to the original novel of Julien Sandrel. Starring Alexandra Lamy ('Un Tour Chez Ma Fille...'), Muriel Robin ('Rise' or 'I Love You Coiffure'), Hugo Questel ('Le mensonge') and Xavier Lacaille ('La mangeuse d'hommes'), 'The Book of Wonders' will be released in Spanish cinemas on April 21.
