The Delinquents

'The Delinquents', the 2023 Argentinian movie directed by Rodrigo Moreno, tells how two employees of a bank start thinking about their boring and routine existence in a very determined moment of their lives.

One of the two friends finds a very exciting solution for the monotony: commit a crime. Finally, he does it and it compromises his destiny and his mates's, nothing is as easy as it seems.

Morán is the one who comes up with the risky plan, a bank employee from the Buenos Aires Bank who wants to liberate himself and his workmate, Román, from a working life that keeps them chained up.

His plan is simple, robbing enough money from the bank to finance his jubilation and Román's. His friend will hide the money until Morán gets out of jail after three years. Then, they will reunite to share the money.

The problem is that Román is pressured by an investigator and decides to hide the money in an idilic rural place so no one will find it. There, he'll meet a mysterious woman who will transform his monotonic life forever.

The cast of this drama about a very well planned robbery is starred by Esteban Bigliardi and Daniel Elías. With them, Laura Paredes, Sergio Hernández, Germán De Silva, Margarita Molino, Cecilia Rainero, Adriana Aizemberg, Mariana Chaud, Javier Zoro, Iair Said and Fabián Casas, among others.
