The Forger

The best art forger of the world, Raymond J. Cutter (John Travolta), makes a deal with the crime syndicate to get an early release from prison. In return, you should operate a seemingly impossible job: to steal an original painting by Claude Monet and replace it with a perfect replica so nobody notices. For this, the underground artist will have to ask for help so his father (Christopher Plummer) and his son (Tye Sheridan). In addition, Cutter take advantage of his release in order to spend more time with his son, who is going to die soon. Cutter is tired, maybe, but never it's too late for one last heist. The film is directed by Philip Martin and 'The Forger' is his first long movie as director.
