Plot
This family drama is focused on John, a struggling graphic novelist who lives in New York with his girlfriend. As they're preparing for the imminent arrival of their first baby, he finds out that his mother has brain cancer. He will have to go back to his hometown and face the new reality with his dysfunctional family. Back in there he will also have to face his bad memories from highschool and also the arrival of his ex highschool sweetheart.
'The Hollars' is the debut as director of John Krasinski, known for his role in TV Series 'The Office'. Krasinski also stars in the film alongside Anna Kendrick and Mary Elizabeth Winstead. 'The Hollars' premiered in January 2016 at the Sundance Film Festival.Cast
