Set in the victorian streets of London, in 1880. A series of murders are being done in the district of Limehouse. Dan Leno, the most famous actor in town, tries to defend his friend Elizabeth Cree. The young lady faces the possibility of being executed in front of the town, because she is accused of murdering his husband. The death of Elizabeth seems to be granted, but the gossip of the people about these mysterious crimes, make people think that the actual murderer is a golem. To solve the uncertain crimes, the police will put the detective Kildare in charge to solve them. Nothing is what it seems and everybody is suspicious, and he has got a secret. Directed by Juan Carlos Medina and written by Jane Goldman.

Trivia The Limehouse Golem

The role portrayed by Bill Nighy was initially given to Alan Rickman, but the latter had to pull out of the project due to ill-health. Jake Sanson is one of the supporting artists in this film, this movie is his debut. The film closed the Sitges Festival in 2016.
