Plot
Based on the book of the same name by Les Standiford. Set in 1843, the story pay attention to the Charles Dickens (Dan Stevens) 's life. Definitely in the most difficult moment of his career like writer. After the failure of his last three books and the rejection oh his publishers, he set out to write and self-publish a book. All because he hopes that it saves his family and return the illusion for his job. Particulary, the film tell us the six weeks that the author needed to create 'A Christmas Carol'. And how he changed the sad life of Ebenezer Scrooge (Christopher Plummer) in perfect example of Christmas's spirit. Show us a family and funny holidays just like now we celebrates.
