Biographic movie about Captain Jacques-Yves Cousteau, a famous investigator, scientist, inventor and filmmaker who brought the fascinating world of the ocean to the people thanks to his achievements. The thirty years compressed between 1949 and 1979 were key for his scientific research, but also for his personal life. He and his family live in a house by the Mediterranean sea, but despide the love and support of his own, Jacques is unable to be happy. A terrible loss that hit his family has reduced him to an old, sad man. However, his son will stick together by his side in order to help him overcome his sadness, for which he will continue his father's mission of exploring the underwater world on board of the Calypso.
