'The Secret: Dare to Dream' is based on the best-selling book 'The secret' by Rhonda Byrne. This was the most sold book in 2006 and it became a phenomenon worldwide because of its idea of the law of attraction: the power our thoughts may have to get a full and happy life. This cinematographic adaptation follows Miranda Wells, a widow that is trying to move on while she takes care of her three kids. During a horrible storm her path crosses with Bray Johnson, a mysterious man that keeps a secret that can change everything. Bray offers to help rebuild Miranda's house roof. While he is doing this work, he explains to the family the power that the thoughts , dreams and wishes have to achieve their goals in life. The cast includes Katie Holmes ('Brahms: The Boy II), Josh Lucas ('Ford v Ferrari'), Jerry O'Connell ('Carter'), Celia Weston ('Hunters'), Sarah Hoffmeister, Aidan Pierce Brennan ('The Punisher'), Chloe Lee, Katrina Begin, Han Soto ('Logan'), among others. Andy Tennant ('Sweet Home Alabama') is the director of this fillm and also co-writes the story with Rick Parks ('EverAfter'). The producers include Rhonda Byrne, the author of the book, and Robert W. Cort ('On the Basis of Sex'). 'The Secret' (2006) was first released as a film in March 2006, and later the same year as a book.
