The Way, Way Back

During a vacation in a Northeast beach town, a lonely teenage boy, Duncan, comes into his own over the course of a summer through an unlikely friendship with the manager of a local water park. Duncan?s mother, Pam, alienates her young son through her determined efforts to make her relationship work with her carousing boyfriend whose disingenuous attempts to build a family are immediately transparent to Duncan.
