Transformers One

In 2024, Paramount Pictures has opted to put aside the live-action films of the 'Transformers' saga, after the premiere in 2023 of the sequel to 'Bumblebee' titled 'Transformers: The Awakening of the Beasts'. The company returns to classic animation with 'Transformers One', to take us to the origins of Orion Pax and D-16.

Chris Hemsworth ('The Avengers'), who will play a young Optimus Prime, and Brian Tyree Henry ('Godzilla and Kong: The New Empire'), who will play a young Megatron, present the story focused on how Their characters went from being brothers to becoming bitter enemies.

'Transformers One' will also feature a star-studded cast that includes Scarlett Johansson ('Black Widow') as Elita, Keegan-Michael Key ('Wonka') as Bumblebee, Jon Hamm ('Top Gun: Maverick') as Sentinel Prime and Laurence Fishburne ('The Matrix') as Alpha Trion.

Hasbro Entertainment and Paramount Animation would produce the film, written by Andrew Barrer, Gabriel Ferrari and Steve Desmond, along with Michael Bay, Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Tom DeSanto, Mark Vahradian, Don Murphy and Steven Spielberg.

Di Bonaventura explained at CinemaCon 2023 that Chris Hemsworth's character will become the character portrayed in the live-action films, stating that the transition from Hemsworth's voice to Peter Cullen's will make sense within of history.
