TRASH

'TRASH' tells the story of boxes, bottles, cans that have been thrown in the streets, in shops, under bridges and that everyone ignores. Flaco is a broken cardboard box that lives in a market next to a bottle of cola called Bubbles, in addition to other companions. It hides in the cleaning machines that inhale everything to survive. Also, he has stopped believing in absolutely everything, not even in the legend of the magic pyramid, according to which all the waste is moved to a wonderful place obtaining a second chance with which they are reborn to be useful again, both for themselves and for others.

But, one night, his life changes when he meets Rayo, a small and special box, who through fun adventures will try to convince him that any waste like him can be profited from. 'TRASH' is directed by filmmakers Francesco Dafano, Luca Della Grotta and is written by Francesco Dafano and Andrea Nobile. Dubbing actors include Rossy de Palma, Dave Willis, Marc Thompson, among others. 'TRASH' is an entirely Italian digital animated film and the first feature produced by the company Al One, with the contribution of MiBAC. The film was part of the official selection at the Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF Animation), at the CINEKID 2020 and at the Festa del cinema di Roma (Alice nella città).
