This thriller directed by Alexandros Greek Avranas ('Miss Violence') is based on an article by the New Yorker journalist David Grann. The murder of a businessman in Poland stored grisly resemblance to that which occurs in a novel. Thanks to this coincidence, the police investigation take its course and they can find the suspect. The shooting of the film began in Krakow and has a very international cast. The lead actor is American actor Jim Carrey in this thriller his partners in this film are Agata Kulesza, Polish actress well known in her country and became known worldwide in Pawel Pawlikoswki's drama, 'Ida'; Zbigniew Zamachowski, who acting in the biopic 'Walesa, Man of Hope'; the Franco-British actress Charlotte Gainsbourg, known for starring many Lars von Trier's films like 'Nymphomaniac', 'Melancholia' and 'Antichrist'; and the Finnish filmmaker Aki Kaurismäki, director of films like 'Le Havre'.
