The biopic 'Bohemian Rhapsody' will tell the story of the lives of Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon and their rise to fame following the formation of rock band Queen in 1970. The film is being produced by GK films under the direction of Bryan Singer and will finish with the band's performance at Live Aid in 1985.

'Mr. Robot' protagonist Rami Malek will be taking on the role of Freddie Mercury and just last week we were able to get a first look at the actor's transformation from hacker to rockstar. The date of the reveal happened to fall on what would have been Mercury's 71st birthday; the frontman passed away in 1991 having suffered from AIDS. Credit must be given to the hair and makeup team working on 'Bohemian Rhapsody' because the resemblance between Malek and Mercury is uncanny!

As if we needed convincing further of how great a Mercury Malek makes, a video taken from the set of 'Bohemian Rhapsody' has leaked. In the clip, Malek is seen replicating Mercury-esque moves so accurately you'd think he was possessed by the rockstar himself. The video looks to be taken from the ending of the film at Wembley Stadium for the Live Aid concert.

The Complete Band

The actors who will play the remaining 3 members of the band have also been revealed.

Gwilym Lee - Brian Mercury (guitarrist)

Joe Mazzello - John Deacon (bass player)

Ben Hardy - Roger Taylor (drums)

According to Deadline, Mike Myers, more famously known as 'Austin Powers' is rumoured to make an appearance in the upcoming film, although it is unknown what role he will take on. We'll just have to wait and see!
