Rami Said Malek was born the 12th May 1981 in Los Angeles, California in a Egyptian Coptic Orthodox family. He has a twin brother called Sami and an older sister. He went to high school with Kirsten Dunst, who shared musical theatre class with him. He graduated in Fine Arts in 2003 in Indiana. He started his acting career in 2004 with a small role in 'Gilmore Girls' and also appeared with secondary characters in TV in series such as 'Medium' or 'The Pacific' until 2006 when he made his debout in films with 'Night at the Museum' and its two sequels in 2008 and 2014. His most important role has been, to date, Elliot Anderson's part in 'Mr Robot', 2015's series, for which he was granted the Emmy Award as well as Critic's Choice Award, he also got nominated to Golden Globes, Satellite Awards and Actor Guild's Award. He had a secondary role in movies such as 'Larry Crowne' (2011), 'The Master' (2012), 'Twilight: Breaking Down Part 2' (2012) or 'Short Term 12' (2013). But his biggest role in the big screen has been Freddy Mercury's in 2018 movie 'Bohemian Rhapsody'.
