On 29th September, Sarah Jessica Parker confirmed to Extra that there would be no 'Sex and the city 3'. The drama doesn't end there however, for the actress blames her former friend and co-star Kim Cattrall, who portrayed Samantha in the 'Sex and the city' saga. Despite already having a script in place, Cattrall declined the offer to make a third installment. According to the Daily Mail, "Cattrall, 61, demanded they (Warner Bros) produce other movies she had in development or she wouldn't sign up for the project."

Soon after, Kim Cattrall tweeted the following response:

The actress recently sat down with Piers Morgan for his TV programme, 'Life Stories' (Daily Mail) where she mentioned, "The answer was always no and a respectful, firm, no. I never asked for any money, I never asked for any projects, to be thought of as some kind of diva is absolutely ridiculous...Sarah Jessica, she could have been nicer... I don't know what her issue is, I never have."

While she was venting to Morgan, Cattrall also revealed, "I don't feel like a victim, I feel like I came out of this on top".

A New Chapter

"It feels like a toxic relationship", Cattrall described her relationship to the other 'Sex and the city' girls. Kim Cattrall is happy with her life as it is, and feels things have been blown out of proportion; she shouldn't have to keep defending herself. The actress declares, she has made her decision, and nothing, not even money can convince her otherwise; she's 61 years old and feels it's time to focus on herself rather than her career.
