Sinopsis
'Smallville' is an American television series developed by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar. It premiered in 2001 and from there it accumulated a total of ten seasons over a decade.
The series follows the experiences of Clark Kent (played by Tom Welling) during his teenage years, before becoming one of the most famous superheroes: Superman.
Set in the fictional town of Smallville, Kansas, the series will guide us through the adventures that young Clark Kent will experience in his attempts to save the Earth and in the decisions that will lead him to ultimately become Superman.
Additionally, he will have to learn to control his alien powers while facing the concerns of a high school boy. Alongside Clark, his friends will appear in the series, with whom he will share his adventures, as well as other superheroes and villains from the DC universe.
Unlike the already known version of the superhero, 'Smallville' delves into the inner world of the character. It explores the humanity and development of his powers and his relationships with the world around him.
He is not the heroic and inspiring Superman that floods thousands of comic strips or movies on the big screen. Instead, we delve into Clark Kent's inner journey filled with depth and realism. A new perspective on the role as a symbol of strength and hope.
The cast includes Allison Mack (Chloe Sullivan), Kristin Kreuk (Lana Lang), Erica Durance (Louis Lane), Michael Rosenbaum (Lex Luthor), and John Glover (Lionel Luthor).

Jensen Ackles, who plays Jason Teague in Season 4, was the second choice to play Clark Kent. If Tom Welling had not accepted the part, the role would have gone to him.
Chloe and Whitney were created specifically for the show (they were never mentioned in the Superman comics). However, in 2003, DC Comics announced that Chloe would be introduced into the Superman comics.
Annette O'Toole (Martha Kent) previously played Lana Lang in 'Superman III'.
