Plot
A group of volunteers tries to pull out a corpse from a well in a conflict zone. Someone threw it there to pollute the water, so the nearby towns are left without supply. But the easiest task becomes an impossible mission, in which the true enemy may be irrationality. This volunteers walk through the warfare landscape trying to solve the problem, just like guinea pigs in a maze. Fernando León de Aranoa directs this film whose stars are Benicio del Toro, Tim Robbins, Olga Kurylenko and Mélanie Thierry.

Fernando León de Aranoa, director of the movie, has a vast knowledge of the Bosnian conflict, since he travelled to that place while the war was taking place in 1995. He registered that trip with a couple of cameras and that experience leaded to 'A Perfect Day'.
Benicio del Toro, Fernando León de Aranoa and Mélanie Thierry received a five minutes standing ovation after the first screening of the movie in the Cannes Festival 2015.
The shooting took place in Malaga, Cuenca and Granada, although the movie is set in Bosnia, that is located in Western Europe.
