Marta (María Pedraza, 'Élite'), Marcos (Jaime Lorente, 'La Casa de Papel'), Eze (Pol Monen, 'La Reina del Sur') and Celeste (Andrea Ros, 'Si no t'hagués conegut') are four friends used to being immersed in their own little world after living together for eight years as roommates in a small apartment in Madrid. As their lease comes to a close, anxieties about the future reach an all-time high. Marcos is set to begin his career in medicine, whereas Marta wishes to be a teacher; Celeste has yet to figure everything out, and Eze intends to move abroad to London and study filmmaking. With such different plans for their futures, the friends worry about growing apart before they even feel as though they have closed this particular chapter of their lives. When, on their final big night out together as flatmates, one of them poises the question of "who would you take to a deserted island?", secrets and lies that lain dormant for years begin to awaken once more as the friends are forced to reevaluate their relationships in light of the question. 'Who would you take to a deserted island?' is a coming-of-age drama directed by Jota Linares, whose other works include 'Unbridled' and 'Temporada baja'. It was adapted for the screen by Paco Anaya and Michele Knotz.
