André Rieu's 2023 Maastricht Concert: Love Is All Around

The King of Waltz invites us again to his concert 'Love is All Around' from his natal city, Maastricht. André Rieu offers again his annual summer event, this time in the iconic Vrijthof Square. The concert will be a festival of music with moving pieces selected lovingly by André, covering the classics, popular sing-alongs and waltz that make you want to dance-

Alongside his beloved orchestra Johann Strauss, André joins also a Gospel Choir and special surprise guests, bringing a romantic and fun party to all the cinemas it will be projected in. The film of the concert is directed by Michael Wiseman, who already directed 'André Rieu: Christmas in London' (2016), 'André Rieu. Happy days are here again! - Maastricht Concert 2022' (2022) and the show 'André Rieu: Welcome to My World' (2019).

André Rieu is a Dutch violinist, orchestra director and composer. He founded in 1987 the Johann Strauss Orchestra and the next year he started his successfull career around the world, becoming one of the greatest stars in classical music at the same level of pop and rock artists. Rieu decided to put classical music to the service of a young public instead of keeping it for the elite, taking it to public squares and sport stadiums. Currently he uses a Stradivarius violin built in 1667.
