Being Frank: The Chris Sievey Story

Documentary about the character of Frank Sidebottom, a Manchester musician whose career was active during the 80s and 90s. In the aesthetic was especially striking because he used to hide his identity under to a large papier-mache head of huge proportions regarding his body. The mission of this footage is to unmask the person who hides behind the artist. Michael Fassbender plays the role of Frank 2014, who took over the stages of the United Kingdom for 25 years and managed to achieve his national fame through television. But who really knew an artist? The director of the documentary, Steve Sullivan, makes an investigation through his personal notebooks, films and music, as well as collects the statements of his closest friends.
