Silvina Schnicer and Ulises Porra make a crude portrait of the class differences and power relations existing in a family as a result of a family tragedy. The way Sarah and her nanny Yarisa deal with each other evokes a reflection on how human beings naturalize and assume power structures in the domestic environment.

This story narrates the collapse of the relationship between Sarah and Yarisa and how the latter will be seriously affected by a fatal accident that puts them in front of each other. The film was directed by Ulises Porra and Silvina Schnicer and shot entirely in the Dominican Republic, in Santo Domingo and Las Terrenas.

The cast includes Cecile van Welie, Magnolia Nuñez, Richard Douglas, Génesis Buret, Mario Cersósimo, Yuberbi de la Rosa and Clearco Giuria, among others. This film received a special mention from the Jury at the San Sebastian Film Festival and won several awards at major international festivals such as Mar de Plata, New York Latino, Miami and Seoul.

It was also the Dominican Republic's representative in the Best Ibero-American Film category at the Goya Awards and its actress Magnolia Nuñez received a nomination for Best Female Performance at the Platino Awards.

The film was produced by Wooden Boat Productions and Pucará Cine and will be released in theaters on September 22.
