El misterio del Padre Pío

Father Pio was canonized by John Paul II, but his life was not easy at all. He was accused of having sexual relationships with his "spiritual daughters" after some microphones were hidden in his confessional. The Church was implacable with him and it was after him for a long time. The film, that mixes documentary with thriller, counts with new commentaries from experts about Pio's amazing life. The movie's crew spent several weeks in San Giovanni Rotondo, where this story's protagonists lived. Father Pio suffered Jesus Christ's stigma in his 50 years of religious hunt. He was said of being able to read people's soul in any languages and "travel" all around the globe thanks to his "bilocation" gift, that is, the ability of being in two placers at the same time.
