The Goya winner for her short-film 'Cafe para llevar' directs this movie where Bea, played by Clara Lago ('8 Apellidos Vascos'), is a young and successful architect whose life seems to be perfect until she catches her boyfriend cheating on her with a pretty famous journalist and also gets fired. After the disaster she decides to come back to her hometown and meet her family after a long time. There she has to deal with a weird neighbour, her peculiar family (Carmen Maura plays the mother in the movie) and a really untrue future. The film is based in a novel of Laura Norton writer of some other famous Spanish novels like 'No culpes al Karma de lo que te pasa por gilipollas', directed by María Ripoll.
