Hanged Woman

'Hanged Woman' is a Spanish horror film directed by Miguel Ángel Lamata with a script by Mayte Navales. It is a production of Bemybaby Films with the participation of Aragon TV and distributed by Filmax. It premieres in theaters on April 24, 2026.

Rosa Martín, played by Amaia Salamanca, is a famous singer-songwriter known as "The Hanged Woman", who decides to end her life in Fran's garden. Fran, brought to life by Eduardo Noriega, was the love of her life, although their relationship had been reduced to his desire and possessive humiliation towards her.

However, Rosa's death does not mean her disappearance, but rather that she remains present in Fran's mansion in the form of a ghost, a force that refuses to disappear and begins to disturb the existence of Fran and his family, sowing fear in every corner of the house. A full-fledged revenge from beyond.

A ghost story that is completed with the presence of Patti, Fran's youngest daughter, who, thanks to her special ability, is able to feel and understand Rosa's presence like no one else, being the only one who truly understands Rosa's motivations.

In addition to Salamanca and Noriega in the leading roles, the cast of 'Hanged Woman' is completed by Norma Ruiz, Veki Velilla, Raúl Sanz, Cristina Gallego, and little Cosette Silguero.
