Lu Over the Wall

Kai is the main character in this Japanese anime where we will know the story of his friendship with Lu. Kai is a student from Tokyo who is forced to move to Hinashi, his father's hometown, after their parents get divorced. There, in that small fishing village, Kai will become a lonely and introverted young boy, who finds it hard to express his feelings and prefers to spend time writing music and uploading it to the Internet. But everything will change when his classmates invite him to join their band, because, with them, he will make an amazing discovery: Lu, a mermaid who wants to be the band's singer. Kai will find in her a friend who will help him understand himself better a express his feelings. But the townspeople don't really like mermaids...
