Synopsis

The modern digital world has turned into a real challenge for Alain, a well-known editor in Paris. Stuck in an existencial crisis, he must find a way to be honest with both himself and his loved ones. He must tell his friend and coworker Léonard that his book is not as good as he thinks, and come clean to his trusting wife on whom he is cheating with another woman. As globalization and technology progresses, physical books are giving way to ebooks, and the years begin to leave their mark on an already tired man. Written and directed by Olivier Assayas, writer of 'Personal Shopper' (2016) or 'Clouds of Sils Maria' (2014) and starring Guillaume Canet ('Jeux d'enfants') and Vincent Macaigne ('Les innocentes').
