Synopsis

Masato is a young chef, specialised in ramen dishes, who lives in the Japanese town of Takasaki. After the recent death of his father, a man he had grown apart recently, he founds one of his suitcases filled with memories and a red notebook that belonged to his mother, who died when Masato was 10 years old. With the objective of investigating both his past and his parent's past, he'll embark on a journey to Singapur with the notebook. He will meet Miki there, a single mother and food blogger, who will help him find his mother's brother. Besides, he will meet his grandmother, Madam Lee, who will tell him the strange love story of his parents. They will both connect and reconcile to recover themselves, using the kitchen and the cooking as their only relaxation.
