Te Ata

Based on the inspiring true story of Mary Frances Thompson Fisher (1895-1995), 'Te Ata' tells the story of the woman born in Indian Territory who traversed cultural barriers to become one of the greatest Native American performers of all time. Raised on the songs of stories of her Chickasaw culture, Te Ata's journey to find her calling and her destiny led her through isolation, discovery, love and a career that culminated in performances for a United States president, European royalty and audiences across the world. Nathan Frankowski directs 'Te Ata' with a cast formed by Q'orianka Kilcher ('The New World') in the role of Mary Thompson Fisher and Graham Greene ('The Green Mile') among others.
