Synopsis

A documentary movie that narrates the story of two identical twin brothers, Alex and Marcus Lewis. In 1982, Alex suffers a terrible motorcycle car accident. He is 18 years old. When Alex wakes up from the coma, he finds out he has amnesia. There is only one person he remembers is his brother Marcus. The rest of his life and relatives has been erased from his head. He don't even know his own name. In order to help his brother, Marcus starts to show him their own lives. From the mundane to the rules of the family. However, he chooses to hide from him some of the darkest secrets of their lives.

When the mother of Lewis twins dies fifteen years later, Marcus' lies start to fall apart when they visit the rooms of the family home. Alex wants to know the truth and Marcus doesn't have another choice. Both brothers must keep a conversation that could end with Alex' world once more.

Is it fair to lie to someone you love to protect him? Even if it is about his own life? The Oscar-nominated director Ed Perkins deals with these questions through the journey of two brothers from a traumatic accident to their climatic conversation. A documentary full of secrets and lies about the difficult relationship of the Lewis with their lives and family.
