The Anthem of the Heart

After a horrible experience when she was very young, Jun feels a deep discomfort in her stomach whenever she tries to utter a word. Therefore, every time she tries to communicate she must do so by email, mobile messages or in writing. Everything seems calm in the life of Jun, although each time she feels more alone and isolated. Despite her melancholy eyes, the tutor of her classroom wants to help her and he decides to include her within a working group of class to elaborate a musical. This surprises Jun, who will gradually open her heart and, with it, perhaps the words can leave her voice, because there are times that it is more painful to keep what it feels than to express it. Directed by Tatsuyuki Nagai, the film was presented out of competition in the Official Selection of the Annecy International Animation Film Festival.
