Inspired by 'Going Places' and a spin-off for the cult classic 'The Big Lebowski', 'The Jesus Rolls' follows Jesus Quintana (John Turturro, 'Barton Fink', 'The Name of the Rose', 'Fading Gigolo') as he hits the road after completing his prison sentence. He and his best friend Petey (Bobby Cannavale, 'Ant-Man', 'Blue Jasmine', 'Mr. Robot') are determined to get their lust for life back, so they steal a car from quick-tempered hairdresser Paul (Jon Hamm, 'Mad Men', 'Baby Driver', 'Richard Jewell') and convince his assistant Marie (Audrey Tautou, 'Amélie', 'The Da Vinci Code', 'Éternité') to join them on their impromptu road trip. As they cross the county, the three misfits confront life, love and sex alongside a host of quirky side characters such as fellow ex-convict Jean (Susan Sarandon, 'Thelma & Louise', 'Feud', 'Stepmom') and her son Jack (Pete Davidson, 'The Dirt', 'Set it Up', 'Big Time Adolescence'), who quickly takes an interest in Marie. 'The Jesus Rolls' is a comedy crime caper directed by John Turturro, who also stars, and is written by Turturro, Bertrand Blier ('Heavy Duty'), Ethan Coen and Joel Coen ('The Ballad of Buster Scruggs'). Joining the star-studded cast are Christopher Walken ('Seven Psychopaths') and Sônia Braga ('Luke Cage').
