The Offering

Fifteen years after Arthur left the Orthodox Jewish community in New York where he grew up, he returns home to reconcile with his father, Saul, and introduce him to his pregnant wife, Claire. Desperate to pay off his debts, Arthur also tries to manipulate his father into selling the family business, a funeral home. Heimish, Arthur's childhood friend and his father's right-hand man, is suspicious of Arthur's true intentions toward his father. Just when it seems they have settled family matters, Abyzou, an ancient demon who has been set free, appears. Arthur has no idea that this demonic figure, much feared in Middle Eastern mythology for its practices involving abortions and the death of children, has it in for Claire and the child she's pregannt with.

'The Offering' stars Paul Kaye ('Game of Thrones', 'Don't Talk to Strangers'), Emm Wiseman ('Winchester: The House That Spirits Built'), Nick Blood ('Euphoria', 'Surveillance') and Allan Corduner ('Resistance', 'The Possible Lives of Mr. Nobody') alongside Jodie Jacobs, Daniel Ben Zenou ('Skins'), and Boian Anev ('Game of Thrones', 'Black Widow').

This is the second film from film director Oliver Park, with Hank Hoffman writing the script based on the original story by Jonathan Yunger.
