The Pilgrim's Progress

Based on the book by John Bunyan, the second best-selling book in history after the Bible that has been translated into more than two hundred languages. The film follows the fantastic adventures of Christian Pilgrim, a farmer who lives with his family in the infamous City of Destruction. Christian finds a book in which he states that the City of Destruction will be destroyed with fire from heaven and all its inhabitants will be brought to trial for their crimes against the fairest King. Christian talks with his family to leave that city but they do not believe him, and they call him crazy and sick. Christian leaves his house crying, helpless, and finds a man who tells him to leave his house, to flee from anger and seek the heavenly way. Christian will thus begin a journey not only to free himself from the destruction of his city, but to achieve salvation.

The film is a faithful animated adaptation of the novel of 1678, so the characters, as in the book, are called by the particularity that most stands out: Evangelist, Goodwill, Interpreter, Faithful ... Furthermore, to reach The Celestial City Christian will have not only to loss his family but defeat the evil demon Apolion in an epic battle that presents this beautiful and adventurous story.
