Plot

After the previous and successful delivery 'Election: The night of the beasts' the creator James DeMonaco returns to relive this global phenomenon to give us important information. In 'The first purge: The night of the beasts' we witness the beginnings of this bloody tradition. What started as an experiment to keep the crime rate below 1% for the rest of the year has become a celebration. The New Founding Fathers of America test the citizens of a small region through this social experiment, giving free rein to all kinds of crimes during one night. The force of the violence of the marginalized increases until exceeding the limits of morality and the experiment ends up reaching the whole country breaking the experimental borders.
